Harlow

Tewantin, QLD, 4565, Australia

Breed: Indian Ringneck Parrot

Gender: Female

Age: 3.5 Years

Reason for Rehoming: Due to a change in personal circumstances and accommodation, Harlow’s current owner can no longer keep her.

Harlow is a young, sweet-natured bird with a bright, intelligent personality. Once she has established trust, she reveals her affectionate nature and enjoys interacting with her people. Partially hand-raised, Harlow is continuing to build her confidence through positive, patient handling and regular social interaction.

Harlow would thrive in a home that can provide daily enrichment, out-of-cage time, and meaningful interaction. She is fully flighted and benefits from opportunities to fly and explore in a safe environment. She has an impressive vocabulary and enjoys talking, making her a delightful companion for someone who appreciates the unique personality of parrots.

Harlow is best suited to a calm, patient home with an adopter who is experienced with parrots, particularly Indian Ringneck (IRN) parrots, or who is committed to understanding their behaviour and communication. She responds well to positive reinforcement and would enjoy continuing her training while building a trusting relationship with her new family.

With consistency, enrichment, and gentle guidance, Harlow has every opportunity to develop into a confident, engaging, and deeply rewarding lifelong companion.
