Annabelle is a delightful senior cat with the heart and spirit of a kitten. At 17 years of age, she still loves to play, explore, and keep life entertaining. Full of personality and affection, she is looking for a patient and loving home where she can enjoy her golden years.
She has a playful, mischievous nature and especially loves chasing string and playing with cat toys. Annabelle is wonderfully expressive and isn’t shy about letting you know when she’d like dinner or when she’s hoping for some attention. While she enjoys affection, she prefers to approach people in her own time. Once she feels comfortable, her loud, contented purr quickly lets you know you’ve earned her trust.
Annabelle has spent her life with another cat, (Ally, also for adoption with us) and the two have always shared a close bond, often sleeping curled up together and enjoying each other’s company. She has had exposure to young children and is gentle, although she is a little cautious around them. She does best when people allow her to come to them at her own pace. She has not been around dogs.
Her family describes Annabelle as fun-loving, kind, and full of character. Despite her age, she still looks and acts remarkably youthful, bringing joy to everyone around her with her playful antics and affectionate nature. In the evenings, she loves curling up on a lap while the television is on, making her the perfect companion for a quiet home.
