Maple is an incredibly loving girl with the most beautiful temperament. She is looking for a family who will let her be their best friend and include her in their everyday life.

She is amazing with children — very gentle and tolerant, and she has never been known to nip or bite. Maple loves to play and enjoys spending time with her people.

Maple has lived with a sister dog for most of her life and has also lived happily with cats. She can be a little unsure around unfamiliar dogs initially, so she will benefit from patient introductions and a family who understands that she may need a little time to feel comfortable.

She is wonderful on lead and walks beautifully. Maple is also a clever girl who knows several commands, including sit, shake, drop, “other hand” and “bed.” When told “bed,” she happily goes into her crate.

Maple currently spends her days outside and sleeps in her crate inside at night. She is a very routine-focused girl, but she is adaptable and would happily become an inside dog if that is the routine her new family prefers. When living inside, Maple is toilet trained and will scratch at the door when she needs to go outside.
