Breed: Alexandrine Parakeet

Gender: Female

Age: 6 years

Reason for Rehoming: Her owner cannot provide the attention she requires

Rehomed by:  20 December 2026

Georgie has been hand reared and kept in her cage. She can be quite affectionate when she warms to someone and can be patted in her cage.

Georgie has quite the collection of sounds, including a wolf whistle and a car locking beep. She also coos like a pigeon after being with them when she was young.    Whenever she wants a head rub, she makes a  clicking sound and tilts her head against the bars, just to make sure you get the message.

Georgie will need a patient owner who’s happy to put in time earning her trust before she’s comfortable accepting touch and coming out of her cage. Then she will be the most loving and devoted companion.
