Hi to my beloved animal lovers, it’s Donna here, Founder of Into Loving Homes Foundation.

I’m writing to you feeling distressed. Nights like these, I lie awake thinking about all the precious animals that deserve a loving home but, for one reason or another, end up in shelters, pounds, or on death row. I think about the lives we could save if only we had the resources. It pains my heart so much.

This year, we’ve achieved so much. Together, we’ve rescued, rehabilitated, and rehomed 114 animals. We’ve also achieved deductible gift recipient charity status, meaning your donations are now tax-deductible. I’m incredibly proud of our dedicated volunteers who pour their hearts into this mission.

But funding remains our biggest challenge. With the right resources, we can save so many more lives. Donations go directly toward desexing, microchipping, health checks, and other essential care—everything needed to prepare cats and dogs for adoption and safely place them into permanent, loving homes.

Without these funds, we’re forced to turn animals away—not because we couldn’t find them homes but because we can’t afford their vet bills. What a tragic reason to let an animal die: the inability to pay a vet bill.

Right now, the need is urgent. Christmas is an especially heartbreaking time, with more animals needing help than ever. While we’ve set up a fundraiser and are grateful for those who’ve donated, shared, or commented, we’ve raised only 1% of our goal. Without these funds, we simply cannot continue and face the heartbreaking possibility of closing our doors by March.

Adopters are ready to give these animals loving homes, but we can’t place unvetted animals into new families. This crucial step is impossible without financial support. Please donate now: https://into-loving-homes-foundation.mygiveeasy.com/…

This year, we’ve saved 114 lives. Eli and Pumpkin, our first adoptees, were an adorable bonded pair of cats who now live their best lives. Just this week, we rehomed Jack, a young Labrador cross whose allergy-ridden owner could no longer keep him. Jack is now thriving in an allergy-free home with adoring humans, a fantastic yard, and a bright future.

Every successful rescue reminds us why we do what we do. These are wins for everyone. But we need your help to make more of them happen.

I’m asking each of you to chip in to save lives. We have 13,000 followers—if everyone donated just $5, we’d reach our goal today. Let’s not allow lack of funding to end our mission of saving lives.

Please, write DONE below once you’ve donated, and share this post far and wide. Let’s make it go viral tonight.

Together, we can save lives.
