Sam is a sweet, friendly cockatiel who loves being around people. He enjoys perching on shoulders, napping beside you, talking, and whistling. Despite his small size, he has a big personality — happy and relaxed most of the time, though he can get grumpy if he doesn’t get enough out-of-cage time or sleep — just like us!
Sam has always been an indoor bird with plenty of freedom outside his cage. He’s looking for a new loving home where he’ll get lots of interaction and be treated as part of the family. He loves fruits, veggies, music, sunshine, and watching the outdoors, but he isn’t comfortable around cats or dogs. Sam is best suited to a cat and dog-free home with people who can give him time, attention, and love — which he’ll return tenfold. He will do well with or without other birds — although he’s never lived with another bird, he often chats to himself in the mirror and to the birds outside, imagining the company.
The adoption fee for Sam is just $29, with all proceeds helping Into Loving Homes continue matching animals to their perfect, loving homes.
