Axel is a big softie. He loves cuddles on the couch but will go to his bed if told.
He has high energy so would be amazing to be somewhere where he gets daily walks and someone to play with him. Loves tug of war but you’ll never win! He growls when playing this but it’s never aggressively, being a large dog some people have been taken aback by this but soon realise he’s harmless!
He knows sit, drop, wait, ‘gentle’ (if handing him food or if he’s getting over excited when playing) and he loves ‘find it’ I hide treats in the yard or one of his stimulation toys.
While his appearance and bark seem quite intimidating, it’s purely optics only, so does make a great guard dog.
Will let you know if he needs to go out to wee, or if he’s hungry (his dinner time is 6pm but when it’s getting close he will get in your face haha)
He also loves swimming and car rides.
