Would you rather adopt an animal traumatised by a pound or shelter and with no history, OR adopt an animal whose history is complete, and trauma avoided with a complete handover from the rehoming family and a reputable organisation? Shelters have a 10% euthanasia rate of adoptable animals, and pounds in 4 out of 6 Australian states have a 100% euthanasia rate for animals left there longer than a week. These animals are not sick or old. They are homeless.
With shelters now at full capacity, and with the usual means of support under considerable strain, largely in part to the floods, we believe that we can reduce the number of animals euthanised in shelters and pounds by rehoming them. We receive calls for help each day, and we continue to witness difficult choices being made by desperate people, who feel they have nowhere to turn. We are here to help. Our mission is to get animals safely Into Loving Homes.
