To our dear followers, it’s Donna Wild, Founder of the Into Loving Homes Foundation. Tonight, I’m reaching out with an urgent plea. We have entered the busiest and most heartbreaking time of the year—a season where countless animals across Australia face euthanasia simply for being homeless.
Our mission is clear: to stop animals from ending up in shelters, pounds, or on death row by matching them directly with loving families.
But we can’t do this alone. Every cat and dog that we rehome requires vet care—desexing, microchipping, health checks and more—to ensure they’re ready for adoption. Without funding, we are forced to turn animals away, not because we can’t find them homes, but because we can’t afford their vet bills. The heartbreak of saying “no” to 5–10 animals every day is something our team of volunteers feels deeply.
Our home-to-home adoption service gives animals a chance to go straight to their new families without the stress and associated dangers of shelters. But right now, we’re at a breaking point. We need your help to save 20 animals by raising $20,000 for their critical vet care.
Consider Sailor, a 7-year-old poodle. Her young owner couldn’t provide the life she deserved, leaving her alone all day. After multiple vet visits, desexing, and dental work costing thousands, we found Sailor a new home. Now she lives her best life.
Or Ami, a 20-year-old Welsh pony left to die in a paddock. Malnourished and suffering from rotted teeth, she was rescued, rehabilitated, and placed in a loving home. Today, she’s thriving, adored by her new family, enjoying the companionship of her paddock buddies and two delicious feeds every day.
And then there’s Luna, a high-energy dog who needed the right match. Her adopter—a former dog sitter—gives her the perfect life, complete with outings, a spacious yard, and endless love. Luna now stars on Instagram and is living her dream.
These are the stories we can create together. But it’s devastating when adoptions fall through because vet care is unaffordable for us or the current owners. This Christmas, today, we can prevent this.
With shelters overcrowded, every dollar you give helps us step in where others can’t.
Tonight, we need to raise $20,000 to change 20 precious lives.
Just $5—the cost of a coffee—can help us save a life and find a loving home.
If you can please write the word DONE below after you have donated and please, please share this post far and wide. Let’s save these animals and give them the futures they deserve.
