If you didn’t adopt through us and you didn’t register your animals microchip then their microchip possibly never got registered at all. What does this mean? If you lose the animal, the chip will not return them to you like they’re intended to do.
You must register that yourself. (For how to: contact Central Animal Records or your vet.)
If you adopted a microchipped animal with us then we have you sorted. It’s all done.
Yes, rabbits can be chipped! Horses too. All fur, feather and skin babies.
Tip: If you find an animals of any species and endeavour to find their family, take them to the vet and scan for a microchip. You might be surprised.
