Max waited what felt like one very long month for his adoption. As a home to home adoption service, all our aniamls stay in the home they come from, until an adopter presents. This is always kindest on the animal (as opposed to then going into shelter or foster care) but it’s not always ideal. Max was ready for a new home. On the weekend, his dream came to life and his adoring adopter is loving integrating Max into their home and lives. He shared “Max was really well trained. He follows commands well. His owner was a good bloke. He did a good job training him, caring for him. We (Max and I) had a good connection from the beginning.”

Upon adoption, our animals enjoy a comprehensive handover from the previous owner to the adopter. Home-to-home. No shelter or foster care in between. This way, the person that knows the animal best can assure that all questions the adopter has about the animal can be answered. This is one step we take to assuring long term adoption success.
