Poppy’s story is a reminder that even the smallest act of kindness can lead to life-changing outcomes. After waiting four weeks for a loving home, Poppy’s luck turned in just 24 hours following an $18 investment. Her rehomer, who was struggling with postpartum mental health, had been desperately checking in with us, hoping for good news. Finally, yesterday, we were able to tell her what she had longed to hear: Poppy found a beautifully suited adopter and a loving forever home.
Poppy is an introverted, polite cat with a charming personality. She values her space but seeks connection with those she trusts, offering gentle head butts or purrs for attention. She loves being groomed and will even “make biscuits” while sitting in your lap. Her rehoming was a sensitive situation, and the joy in finding her a perfect match was felt deeply by everyone involved.
Now, we turn our attention to Coco.
Coco Needs You
Coco, who is being rehomed due to the rental crisis, is sweet-natured and chatty. He adores being held and has the cutest “puppy-dog eyes” when he’s hungry. Like Poppy, he’s been waiting four weeks, and his time is running out. We need your help.
At Into Loving Homes, all our animals stay with their current families until a new home is found, reducing stress. But if we miss deadlines, the pets’ future lies in the hands of their current owners, and for many, this could mean euthanasia.
Your $5 investment can help us find Coco a home before it’s too late—just like Poppy.
