Ways we strive for kindness:
🏠Rehomers (the animals familiar family) are present when all vet and temperament assessments are taking place prior to being listed for adoption.
🏠Animals stay with their family until they have a new family to go to (zero time spent in a shelter or foster homes)
🏠Animals are rehomed with items to help them better transition. As a minimum this is a few days worth of food they like and something with a scent from home on it. Many go with all of their possessions and food including but not limited to: bedding, scratch posts, kitty litters, toys, treats, cage, crate, leads, collars, etc..
🏠Bonded animals are always rehomed together.
If there is a kinder way to rehome animals, we will implement it.
